3 Results-Oriented Methods for Marketing and Building Your Own Business

By Reginald Silva

What you are going to learn has been based on the very simple idea of putting a bunch of different parts of marketing together that people aren't usually looking at. In fact, you may read them and think they are not so earth-shattering which is fine. But if you aren't doing them or haven't yet thought about them that way well then we can help you. Another fantastic point about online marketers as a whole is that they let themselves get way too comfortable when they figure out what works for them. This is a decision you will have to make for yourself when the time comes but really, it's better to always be on the lookout for ideas and things that you can take advantage of and use reasonably well to help yourself with your marketing.

If you've never asked for help yourself at an online marketing forum, you've surely seen many others begging for it. Most of the time there are a few core problems going on, and one of them involves strategy - or chasing the wrong one. What happens to many marketers is that they enjoy the thrill of starting a new blog or site, so they keep building new ones and lose focus. It's great to be ambitious and set goals, but you can only do so much at one time and you have to avoid putting too much on your plate. Your main goal should be to have one profitable business at first, and until you achieve that forget about starting new sites or businesses.

There are a couple of social sites that everyone has heard of, but that some people mistakenly think aren't that relevant anymore. Whether you've used sites like StumbleUpon, Reddit and Digg before or not, it's a good idea to become active with a couple of your favorites. One way to get even more out of these sites is to create a blog of your own there (for the ones that have this feature). On this type of site, you need to make regular efforts of posting and bookmarking. You can choose whatever site or sites you prefer, but Digg is probably the one with the most potential. You can make friends on these sites who will vote up your links and comment on them, though you also have to do the same for them.

Creating the product for the newbies is one thing. You now need to know how to market to the newbies to get them to buy. There are many ways to attack this, but for now we just want to mention hosting newbie webinars. There are a few online marketers who have really made a killing just working with newbies. Just set up a webinar, and invite the newbies to attend. Since they are new, then you can very easily entice them with very solid and useful information. You need to be concerned about the newbies and provide them with information that they can use right away.

Online marketing is a constant learning process, and some mistakes are inevitable. You shouldn't be afraid of mistakes, as they are part of the learning process and help you become a better marketer. Just accept the fact that it will be a little confusing at first, and before you know it everything will become clearer.
